Mosaics • They are a farm favorite since 2017. Each one a different color, intelligent, with friendly personalities! Blue earlobes, blue skin, great at free-ranging. The mosaics are a large fowl, rare, new variety of chicken from Gold Feather Farms resulting from years of selective breeding. They lay medium cream eggs. Each chicken will be a different mosaic pattern and you’ll be able to tell them apart. The offspring are even more mosaic patterned than their parents, especially the hens!

Our 2026 group - is a combination of Open Gate Farm - and some new genetics from Littleman Poultry. All slow going - I kept Littleman favorites from 2024 grow outs and paired them with our mosaics. Then hatched, and raised 2025 grow outs. By October 2025 they are laying. Love the color variety, and temperaments! These birds - usually end up being flock favorites.
