FYI

As daylight hours increase, so will the hens egg production! We do not add light to the coops. The hens get a natural break. Our eggs are all hand gathered, marked, and saved fresh for customers.

Order: If an offer you like is “sold out” after January 2, leave your email at the item, to be notified when it is back in stock!

Shipping: We ship hatching eggs across the United States, and chicks are local pickup only in Westport, MA. 2024 UPDATE: WE CAN ONLY SHIP 2 DOZEN PER PACKAGE. Kindly, place a second order if you’d like more, as it will have a separate tracking number. Yes, we can ship two packages the same day! Shipping Cost is $25 for a half dozen + dozen. Shipping Cost is $45.00 for 1.5 + 2 dozen. AT CHECKOUT, THE CUSTOMER must select the correct shipping option or will be emailed for the remaining, which may delay the order. There’s also an option for “Local Pickup”. Thank you!

We begin shipping in January, and hatching chicks in March. We fill orders, based on order number and availability from the flock! Eggs will ship January - September based on order number and communication with our customers. Most orders will be filled March - June when the birds are in high laying gear. More on that below.

Once your eggs ship you receive an order fulfillment email from us, and tracking from USPS! The eggs spend 2-3 days in transit. Each order comes with some basic instructions, and bonus eggs! We do our very best to package the eggs.

At Checkout: Let us know if you have a preference on month shipped, but we make no promises on specific dates, but can do our best if given enough notice. For example “Not before April 15”, “August please”, or you have dates you’ll be away.

Hatching Eggs: Two sizes available - half dozen, and dozen for most! Note, Silkies + showgirls, and Open Gate Fibro + Egger Frizzles are available by the dozen only.

Bonus: Two extra eggs per dozen!

Local Chicks: Chick orders are a minimum of four! They are preordered, and scheduled for pickup by appointment only. We already have batches planned for 2024!

Pullets + Cockerels: For 2024, Black Copper Marans + Olive Eggers, 12 weeks old! **These offers will vary per year!
